Create a more engaging experience for your visitors even when they land on a non-existing page. You can customize a 404 page that matches the look and feel of your website.

To get started, open your website in the Umso editor.

Click on your Page Picker and click on "+ Add Page".

Click on "Add Custom 404 Page" under "Create Special Pages".

Upon clicking the button, a pre-populated 404 section will be automatically added to your website. Feel free to add more sections, modify the text, or change the layout to better suit your brand's identity.

After making the necessary changes, click on the Publish button to make your Custom 404 Page live.

To view your new 404 page, simply try navigating to a page on your site that does not exist. The custom 404 page you designed will be displayed, helping you maintain a consistent user experience even during errors.

Multilingual Custom 404 Pages

Custom 404 pages also support language variations, but this feature only works with custom multilingual domains. For example, if you have a site umso.com, and another site umso.fr, the French version of your custom 404 page will only work with umso.fr. It won't work if you don't have a custom domain for that specific language.
