What is Senja?

Senja is a testimonial platform that helps you collect, manage, and showcase customer reviews. With Senja, you can gather video and text testimonials from your happy customers and display them beautifully on your Umso website—no coding required.

Senja makes it easy to create professional testimonial displays (called "widgets") that automatically update when you add new reviews. This means your social proof stays fresh without you having to manually update your website.

Before You Start

You'll need a Senja account to use this integration. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up at senja.io. Senja offers a free plan that lets you collect up to 15 testimonials, which is perfect for getting started.

Once you have your Senja account set up and have collected some testimonials, you'll want to create a widget in Senja Studio. This is the display that will appear on your Umso site.

Adding Senja to Your Umso Site

Step 1: Open the Section Menu

In the Umso editor, click on "Add Section" wherever you want to display your testimonials. This could be on your homepage, an about page, or any other page where social proof would help build trust with visitors.

Step 2: Find the Senja Section

Click on the "Social Proof" category in the section menu, then select the "Senja" section. This will add a Senja section to your page.

Step 3: Connect Your Senja Account

When you first add a Senja section, you'll be prompted to connect your Senja account. Click the connect button and follow the authorization process. This is a secure connection that allows Umso to access your Senja widgets.

Step 4: Select Your Widget

After connecting your account, you'll see a list of widgets you've created in Senja. Choose the widget you want to display on this page. You can use different widgets on different pages if you'd like to show specific testimonials in different places.

That's it! Your testimonials will now appear on your site.

Automatic Updates

One of the best features of the Senja integration is that your testimonials automatically stay in sync. When you add new testimonials to your Senja account or update your widget design, those changes will automatically appear on your Umso site—no need to republish or make any changes.

Tips for Using Testimonials Effectively

Place testimonials strategically
Add testimonial sections near important conversion points, like above your pricing or next to your call-to-action buttons.

Use different widgets for different pages
Create specific widgets in Senja for different products or services, then add them to the relevant pages on your site.

Keep collecting testimonials
The more testimonials you have, the more trust you build. Set up Senja's automated collection forms to continuously gather feedback from happy customers.

Mix formats
If you have both video and text testimonials in Senja, consider using a widget that shows both. Video testimonials are especially powerful for building trust.

Availability

The Senja integration is available on all Umso plans, including Free, Basic, and Pro. You can add as many Senja sections to your site as you'd like.
